This museum is located on a Gallo-Roman site which has been inhabited for 2000 years. The Bouillons Mill is an olive oil mill called a "blood mill", which means it used human or animal power to drive the mill. It is a registered Historical Monument, and is the oldest preserved mill with all of its work elements.

Several different presses have been used over the centuries. The most recent monumental press weighs 7 tons and is 10 metres long, and dates from the 16th century.

The mill, partly dug into the rock and featuring piping from Roman times, tells the story of olive oil and Marseille soap.

A variety of work tools have been preserved, as well as oil lamps and amphorae etc.
Located in Saint Pantaléon on the road to Gordes, amidst 3 hectares of grounds which are also home to the Museum of Glass and Stained Glass.
