Activity in Sault :
Guided through the fields you choose and collect the sprigs of lavender you will use to make your spindle. Leave with your own genuine creation of Provence ! Reserved for groups.
Lavender ... a unique scent, a plant with a thousand virtues, which has survived through the ages and always been used to improve well-being.
Even in Ancient Rome, women would use the flower to perfume their linen, and our grandmothers, during harvesting season, made spindles from colourful silk ribbons, which were then placed in wardrobes.
Unfortunately, as time passed, this custom progressively disappeared, replaced instead by industrial air fresheners and repellents.
Arôma’plantes has decided to rediscover this ancestral tradition.
From now on, you can participate in “Spindle” workshops, during which you will make your own bouquet with the help of an activity leader. You will have a large range of ribbons to choose from, and the lavender that you use will have been harvested from the distillery’s own field.
