Activity in Châteauneuf-du-Pape :
Composing a wine from several grape varieties is an art that requires a lot of experience. We have created a special cuvée for you, made from 3 vintages aged for 36 months in oak barrels and vats.
The idea is to share with you the secret of blending to make a unique wine with finesse and subtlety.
You will learn to identify each of the cuvées chosen by our sommelier and then guess the correct wine out of 3.
Program of the workshop
1. Visit our blending cellars
The Pavillon des vins invites you to discover the cellars where the wine ages in vats and oak barrels.
2. Presentation of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation
Highlighting the climate, soil composition, and grape varieties of the Châteauneuf du Pape vineyard.
3. Tasting session:
- Emphasising the work of wine selection: Visual, gustatory, and olfactory
- Tasting of 3 wines of different vintages
- Blend tests from the 3 cuvées
- 2 Blend tests from the 3 wines
- Tasting of 1 wine from a blend of 3 "Cuvée édition spéciale" vintages from Châteauneuf du Pape.
