The Domaine la Rêverie estate, which was set up in 2006, is located in a UNESCO designated biosphere reserve, in Modène, in the Vaucluse region, at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the Southern Rhône Valley. Open April to September, 10am to 1pm and 3.30 to 7pm; October to March, 1 to 6.30pm and mornings, by appointment only.
The estate is made up of 24 hectares of AOC Ventoux vineyards including typical Rhône Valley grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan), as well as 3 hectares of IGP Vaucluse vineyards.The Domaine la Rêverie estate also produces olive oil and has 400 olive trees, most of which are at least one-hundred-years-old.We converted to organic farming methods in 2010 and avoid using chemical fertilizers and pesticides, in an effort to protect the environment.
Guided tours of vineyards available free of charge, in summer, late afternoon. Booking required.
