Le Paty lake, retained by a dam, is located in the region of Caromb, at the foot of Mont-Ventoux, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, pine trees and holm oaks. It’s primarily a place for fishing, strolling and relaxation. Controlled trout fishing from 3rd week of January to 15th October. Ideal place for a family picnic in summer. Unsupervised swimming permitted within restricted zone during summer.
Fishing is regulated by the Leï Pescadou dou Paty fishing corporation and is permitted every day, during fishing season, except on Fridays between January and May due to trout stocking. Practical information about fishing in 2016: One day fishing permit, purchased on site: €10 during week and €15 on Saturdays; Annual permit: €100; Two-week holiday permit: €35; Youth annual permit: €55; Children less than 12 can fish free of charge using float rod.
