Lamb and Ram Fair and Competition


ST CHRISTOL
 

Sunday 5 August 2012, from 9 in the morning till 6 pm.

This 55th fair is centred on hundreds of sheep known as gimmers or ewes.  It’s a traditional fair in Provence where shepherds gather.  There will be demonstrations of sheep dog trials, shearing, spinning and weaving, pony rides, animal shows, as well as stands selling local ware, and a lovely country meal to close this beautiful countryside event.
