Provence Museums

Museums were founded and opened in the 19th century, most often based on archaeological discoveries and private collections. Today, experts and amateurs alike continue work in these fields, exploring geological phenomena, art, our agricultural past, bearing witness to traditions which get passed on, to change, and to contemporary art.
