International Art and Antiques Fair
L'ISLE SUR LA SORGUE
The Easter weekend fair in Isle sur la Sorgue is a meeting place for bargain hunters and collectors, and holds the record for the oldest flea market and antique fair.
Provencal quilts, age-old earthenware jars, chests, ancient tableware, furniture, rare objects and everyone’s favourites.
The fair began in 1966 with 14 stands, and now welcomes over 200 exhibitors, and includes the town’s 250 antique, art and decoration shops.
The settled antique sellers are grouped in ten villages and centres, such as the Modern art centre, the Antique book centre and the Design & Decoration centre. They take part in the Fair and welcome shoppers for the occasion, usually only open at the weekends.
