Going in the direction of the Sault highlands, a series of terraced fields and marvelous lookout points take you from the fertile, irrigated plains of Provence to more arid highland Provence, with grandioses panoramas.
The wine road goes along the green Auzon valley, to the west in the direction of Sault through the villages of Mazan and Mormoiron. Great views of the region. At the base of Mont Ventoux, Villes-sur-Auzon is a good starting point for excursions into the Nesque river canyons, to Sault and the lavender-growing highlands.
