Sirene Observatory LAGARDE D'APT

In the Luberon Regional Natural Park, the Sirene Astronomical Observatory is open to all for observing.

Throughout the entire year, we offer a wide range of services for all ages. Advance reservations required. 

For total newcomers, experienced stargazers, children, disabled ... every audience, on your own or as a group. Alone, with the family or among friends, our technical and scientific team accompanies your visit. In Provence, we have one of the purest skies in Europe and some of the best weather. Here, take advantage of our cutting edge instrumentation in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We approach both theory and hands on, and take you to the limits of our galaxy and your dreams ... The Sirene Observatory is accessible for disabled persons. The 635-mm telescope set up under the dome, enables all to observe the night-time sky. 

During school holidays, you can also visit the Sirene Astronomical Observatory by day, every Thursday at 2pm.
