The foundation of the Blachère company exemplifies its passion and commitment to Africa. It is founded on a system of aesthetic and ethical values and its actions help elevate Contemporary African Art. There are several dedicated areas on site: a creative residence hosting artists from the Congo, South Africa, Mozambique and elsewhere. The gallery holds on temporary shows of its preferred discoveries.
When you step into the boutique, you’ll travel right across Africa! In a spirit of fair trade, African designers display their latest creations: jewellery, textiles, furnishings, decorative objects, etc.
At the documentation centre, as a seeker, visitor, student or researcher, you’ll plunge into the history and progression of Contemporary African Art.
And as the perfect end to your visit of the Gallery and Boutique, take time out for a drink or snack, comfortable settled on the outdoor terrace or in the brightly furnished African tea room, imagined by the Senegalese designer Ousmane Mbaye.
