Pertuis is a town that is constantly changing and that never ceases to amaze. It’s pleasantly popular, authentically rough around the edges and is certainly no museum piece. Like all lively places, it’s filled with riches and contradictions. Jean-Jaurès square, with its café terraces, is at the heart of the town. The place abounds with prestigious and symbolically named streets and monuments, from Place Mirabeau, named after the famous orator, to Rue Danton, which leads to Cours de la République, and rue Voltaire which takes you to the Hôtel de Ville.
