Bacchus seems to have done things right in this area, oft-referred to as “blessed by the gods”. I wander amidst the vineyards and follow the road which lies ahead, full of beautiful landscapes and cellars full of wines to taste and discover… Pleasures for one and all…

Be sure to see: Visan et Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes Côtes du Rhône Villages wines. Cairanne The Wine Sensorial Discovery Trail, a fun, interactive way to learn about the world of wine. Haywagon rides in the vineyards at the Ecurie du Muzet. The Côtes du Rhône Villages wines. Rasteau Natural sweet wine and Côtes du Rhône Villages. The Vintner Museum: wines, collection of old bottles, video on the Côtes du Rhône wines. The vineyard trail - a 3-km path with informative signposts all along. Séguret Village ranked as “one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France” with narrow winding streets, lovely fountain, washing well. Côtes du Rhône Villages. Santon maker’s studio and other crafts studios on the village Vacqueyras and Gigondas Great Côtes du Rhône vintages. Contemporary sculpture path at the top of the old village of Gigondas. Beaumes-de-Venise The village is ranked as “Outstanding Good Taste Site”, for its natural sweet wine “Le Muscat”. Côtes du Rhône Villages wines. The olive oil mill “La Balméenne”, with awardwinning olive oil. Video on olives, harvesting, and olive-oil making at the mill. Notre Dame d’Aubune chapel. Orange The “Palais des Vins” where over 150 different Côtes du Rhône wines are offered for tasting and sale. Châteauneuf-du-Pape The most prestigious of the Côtes du Rhône wines is ranked as “Outstanding Good Taste Site”. The Père Anselme wine museum. The ruins of the Château (visit on own).
