Stroll around its steep little history-laden streets, admire the ruins of the Marquis de Sade’s castle, restored by fashion designer Pierre Cardin, as well as the village’s medieval heritage and freestone houses.
Located in the center of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Lacoste has a great many activities for you: hiking in the Cedar Forest and around the village, touristic biking routes, events, art galleries, wine tastings, summer festivities, and more.
Although now more cosmopolitan, the village has maintained its age-old traditions and its residents have warmly welcomed many artists, painters, sculptors.
We’d love to welcome you too, year long, to the Lacoste Tourism Office, on the church square, to guide you along throughout your stay.
