In Avignon, a super blues festival takes place every year in September or October, and has been going on since 1998. The Avignon association "La Voix du Blues" - the Voice of Blues, is a group of passionate volunteers who bring in blues performances all year long, and in particular for the yearly festival. This year, the Avignon Blues Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary. The association does its best to program artists fromt he best French sources, and represent the eclectic musical nature of the Blues, to bring it to everyone. - Friday 9 October, 8:30 pm, Dawn Tyler Watson (Canada) and Deborah Coleman (USA). - Saturday 10 October, 8:00 pm, Sophie Delila (France) and The Kinsey Report (USA).
